Dilip is the principal at Kesaria and Company and has over 30 years of experience in commercial and corporate matters.
Dilip was enrolled as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1987 and as an Advocate to the Tanzanian Bar in1993. He is ranked as a “Band 2” lawyer in the field of “ General Business Law: Dispute Resolution” by Chambers Global.
An accomplished litigator,Dilip represents several banks, P & I Clubs, shipping lines and ports and terminals. Dilip advises and represents institutional as well as private clients in both contentious and non-contentious property issues and has considerable expertise in dispute resolution and international commercial arbitrations.
In non-contentious matters, Dilip advises and represents clients in transactions involving mergers and acquisitions as well as joint ventures and collaborations between local and international businesses as well as land and property transactions.
Dilip is the founding member of the Maritime Law Association of Tanzania.
Stanslaus enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania in 2013 and holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Stanslaus expertise lies in commercial litigation, land and property related matters and employment disputes.
Zachariah enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania in 2015 and holds a Masters Degree in Law in Oil and Energy Law from Kampala International University.
Zachariah specializes in debt recovery of NPLs (Non-Performing Loans) and has successfully represented various financial institutions in recovery suits. Zachariah represents several banks in high value recoveries.
In his spare time, Zachariah enjoys soccer and is an avid supporter of Manchester United.
Jasbir enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania in 2020 and holds an LLM in International Commercial Law and Practice from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to her enrollment and upon graduation from City University, London Jasbir was employed at the firm as a Paralegal and has shadowed Dilip since 2014.
At the firm, Jasbir practices mergers and acquisitions, civil litigation and handles corporate and private client matters..
An adrenaline junkee, Jasbir has ski-dived and bungee jumped several times.
